Not all that glitters is  Gold.


One Monday morning at the gates of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana, stood this awesome lady…Jenifer looking just like another rookie in the lion’s den.
James, handsome, Ashanti guy met up with her, helped and escorted her to her place of residence.

The two became friends and started liking each other, they did all what they wanted together.
(I guess you are thinking whether they slept together? Hash, not at this time)
Having been together for a while, Jenifer started dreaming of marriage, having all the plans for
both of them after school….
James was a gentleman, humble kind and loving. He was really nice to her, he showed and did
all he could to make her happy. He supported her…he cared for her…. hmm indeed she loved him. Though she didn’t allow him have sex with her not until this one night…

Jenifer (on phone): Hello, honey
James, hello dear…. how are you?
Jenifer: I’m fine, you?
James: Great… can we hook up today?
Jenifer: Hook up? what’s that?
James: oooh! I meant can we go out tonight?
Jenifer: sure, where can I meet you?
James: OK I’m coming to get you.
They had fun, and enjoyed themselves until late in the night.
Jenifer: hmm I’m tired, can we go back?
James (thinking…. with all the money I have spent today, I can’t just let her go like that)
Jenifer: Honey, you said nothing o
James: ooh its late, can we just stay at my friend’s place for just today?
Jenifer: No
James: c'mon, why not…? I mean its late now. We can not go back.
Jenifer: seeing James, her love, frustrated, angry, unsettled…. let’s stay.
They went in together.
Jenifer: can I have a glass of water please?
James: (on phone…. talking to his buddy,) yooo, Bro I’m staying at your place tonight, I have got
someone with me………. see you later.

Jenifer asking for a glass of water again. After a while James brought a glass of water to her. As soon as she took a sip of it, she felt sleepy and became unconscious. Me and you know what happened next…. And a few months later, she started having fever, body pains, Going for a medical check up. There was nothing positive, she kept on revisiting the hospital clandestinely, her only worry was pregnancy not until one day a Doctor assured her that she was HIV positive. Now what next?

Revealing this big secret to her lover James, He switched off his phone (changed number probably) Changed residential place…never showed his face again to her. They met one day on campus… James pretended never to have seen her. Talking and asking him, what the matter was…. James replied its over between me and you...Go find your way somewhere else.
